Roller sprocket
If you are planning to purchase roller sprockets for your application, you should first look at the various types available. There are several ways to measure roller chain wear. If using a high-speed drive, it should have at least 11 teeth, and a medium-speed drive should have at least 25 teeth. Also, be sure to check the length of the chain, even if you should. The same goes for the pin diameter, which should be the same or different pitch as the roller chain.

The choice between roller chains and friction drives depends on the usage environment. Roller chains are more resistant to dirty environments and are more suitable for conveying bulk products.
